Another Two Companies Were Granted Licenses for the Use of Numbering Resources

The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) granted two new numbering licenses for the use of numbering resources to S.C. Interpoint S.R.L and S.C. Telcor Communications S.R.L., both located in Bucharest.

Interpoint received 410,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephony services in Bucharest and in all the country’s counties. 10,000 numbers type 031 770 xx xx will be used in Bucharest, and for the rest of the country the company will use numbers type 03AB 77x xxx, where AB stands for the prefix of each county, except for Ilfov, which has the same prefix as Bucharest, and x can be any digit from 0 to 9. Also, the company will use 3,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for services provided through green numbers, prepaid cards and for televoting services, as well as 2,000 numbers within the 0Z=09 domain (numbers for premium rate services) for general, business, marketing information services and adults entertainment services. The individual carrier selection code of this operator is 1050.

Telcor Communications will provide fixed telephony services in Bucharest, through 10,000 numbers type 031 690 xx xx, services through green numbers, prepaid cards and televoting services for which the company will use 3,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain, as well as premium rate services from the entertainment, general information and adult entertainment category, for which it will use 3,000 numbers within the 0Z=09 domain. The company received the carrier selection code 1023.
