The National Regulatory Authority for Communications granted two more licenses for the use of numbering resources and allotted additional numbering resources to other six companies.

S.C. Orizont Group S.R.L. and S.C. DV Company S.R.L. requested and received numbering resources for the provision of telephony services through fixed public electronic communications networks, various services, Premium Rate services and carrier services.

S.C. Orizont Group S.R.L. was granted the right to use 150,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephony services (0Z=03 domain), 6,000 numbers for various services (green numbers, universal access numbers, televoting, virtual cards, prepaid cards, Internet and data networks access) and 3,000 numbers for Premium Rate services (0Z=09 domain).

S.C. DV Company S.R.L. was granted the right to use 410,000 numbers within the numbering resources for fixed telephony services (0Z=03 domain) and 4,000 for green numbers services, virtual cards, prepaid cards and Internet and data networks access services.

Moreover, ANRC supplemented the numbering resources previously allotted to S.C. World Telecom Network S.R.L. and S.C. Media Sat S.R.L. In addition to the previously received numbering resources, the first company was granted the right to use 2,000 numbers for the provision of various services (green numbers and virtual cards) and 3,000 numbers for Premium Rate services. The second company was granted the right to use additional 400,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephony services (0Z=03 domain).

ANRC issued licenses for the use of numbering resources to a total of 51 companies authorised to provide telephony services and the numbering resources allotted so far are around 40 million.
