The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) issued a new licence for the use of numbering resources for the Bucharest-based company KTEL Center and allotted additional resources to Ines Group S.R.L., by modifying the licence this operator owns.
KTEL Center obtained 3,000 non-geographic numbers for premium rate services, from which 1,000 numbers type 0900 100 xxx will be used for entertainment, games and telephone contests services, 1,000 numbers type 0903 090 xxx – for general, business and marketing information services and 1,000 numbers type 0906 090 xxx – for adult entertainment services.
Based on the changes made to the licence issued to Ines Group in March 2003, ANRC allotted the operator 410,000 new national geographic numbers within the 0Z=03 domain, for the provision of fixed telephone services, from which a block of 10,000 numbers type 0316 20x xxx will be used in Bucharest, and the others will cover all the countries’ counties. The latter will be type 03AB 62x xxx, where AB represents the prefix of each county. Also, Ines Group obtained 4,000 national non-geographic numbers within the 0Z=08 domain (for services provided through green numbers, universal access numbers and virtual cards and for televoting services), as well as 3,000 national non-geographic numbers for premium rate services, within the 0Z=09 domain.
At the same time, upon the operator’s request, ANRC withdrew 3 blocks of numbers previously allotted: 10,000 numbers type 0215 79x xxx, covering Bucharest, 10,000 numbers type 0238 69x xxx for Buzau county and 10,000 numbers type 0268 69x xxx for Brasov county.
