Until June 7, 2010 were authorized a number of 2008 companies, which were thus entitled to enter the market as providers of electronic communications services or networks.
A number of 1936 companies were authorized to provide public electronic communications networks, divided as follows:
Fixed public networks 1691 Public radio mobile PAMR networks 255 Public VSAT networks 43 Public mobile networks with satellite transmission 9 Radio paging public networks 4 Radio cellular public networks 8
So far, 442 companies have obtained the right to provide telephony services, as follows:
Telephony services provided through fixed public networks 423 Telephony services provided through terrestrial public mobile networks 73 Telephony services provided through satellite 15 Transmission telephony service 122
Within the number of companies which provide or will provide telephony services through fixed public networks occurs the following distribution: 110 companies expressed their intention to cover the local call segment, 106 the long distance call segment, and 118 provide or intend to provide services on the international call segment. A number of 117 companies intend to install a public phone.
Besides the telephony services, a number of 1731 companies will also provide other types of services as follows:

The 1445 companies authorized to provide Internet access services may use different means to connect to the final users as follows:
The companies providing Internet access services may either connect to international networks either directly – through optic fibre, satellit, leased lines- or have indirect access. The distribution of these companies, depending on the means of acces to international network, is presented in chart below:
