The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) extended the numbering resources granted to S.C. ORANGE ROMÂNIA S.A., S.C. PARLATEL S.R.L, S.C. ROMANIA DATA SYSTEMS S.A. and S.C. AIETES TELECOM GALATI FILIALA TULCEA S.R.L. and issued a new license for the use of numbering resources for the company S.C.TRANSMISII DATA S.R.L.
ANRC granted to S.C. ORANGE ROMÂNIA S.A., in addition to the previously granted resources, 1,000,000 national non-geographical numbers for telephone services provided through the public mobile networks of electronic communications.
As well, ANRC extended the numbering resources granted to S.C.PARLATEL S.R.L. by 400,000 national geographical numbers in the 0Z=03 domain, i.e. de 10,000 numbering blocks for each county of Romania.
S.C. ROMANIA DATA SYSTEMS S.A. was granted the right to use 50,000 new national geographical numbers in the 0Z=03 domain. This company was also allotted 4,000 numbers in the 0Z=08 and 0Z=09 domains for services included in the following categories: televoting, entertainment, games, telephone contests, general information, business and marketing information, adult entertainment.
S.C.AIETES TELECOM GALATI FILIALA TULCEA S.R.L. was allotted, in addition to the previously granted resources, 6,000 numbers in the 0Z=08 domain and 3,000 new national non-geographical numbers for premium rate services.
The National Regulatory Authority for Communications issued a new license of using the numbering resources for the company S.C. TRANSMISII DATA S.R.L., allotting 10,000 national geographical numbers in the 0Z=03 domain, with coverage in the county of Bacau, and 3,000 new non-geographical numbers for services provided by means of green numbers, virtual cards and prepaid cards.
So far, ANRC has granted numbering licenses to 55 companies authorised to provide telephone services. The numbering resources allotted so far have exceeded 43 million call numbers.
