The mobile telephony services providers S.C. Mobifon S.A. and S.C. Orange Romania S.A. requested and received each, after completing the procedure for granting numbering resources, a block of one million national non-geographic numbers for the provision of telephony services through public mobile electronic communications networks, in addition to the resources allotted by ANRC so far.
After ANRC analysed the request for supplementary numbering resources submitted by S.C. Easy Comm S.R.L., this company was granted the right to use 410,000 numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for the provision of fixed telephony services nationwide.
Thus, the numbering resources allotted so far by ANRC within the 0Z=03 domain (geographic numbers – for fixed telephony) exceeds 21.5 million numbers, while the numbers allotted for the provision of mobile telephony services reached 16 million. 41% of the 38 million numbers allotted so far by ANRC represent numbers used for the provision of mobile telephony services.
