The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) extended the numbering resources granted to S.C. MOBIFON S.A., S.C. WORLD TELECOM NETWORK S.R.L., S.C. INTERNET EXPERT 2003 S.R.L. and S.C. UTI COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS S.R.L. Thus, upon the request submitted to ANRC, S.C. MOBIFON S.A. was granted an additional block of 1,000,000 numbers to be used for the provision of mobile telephone services at national level.
As well, S.C. WORLD TELECOM NETWORK S.R.L. was granted – in addition to the previously granted resources – 340,000 geographic numbers in the 0Z=03 domain, for the provision of fixed telephone services at national level.
S.C. INTERNET EXPERT 2003 S.R.L. received the right to use 70,000 numbers in the 0Z=03 domain for the provision of fixed telephone services at national level and 3,000 numbers in the 0Z=08 domain for miscellaneous services, as well as 3,000 numbers in the 0Z=09 domain for premium rate services. Furthermore, this company was granted the indicative 1641 for one-step carrier selection.
The company S.C. UTI COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS S.R.L. requested and was allotted 10,000 geographic numbers in the 0Z=03 domain for the provision of fixed telephone services in the county of Constanta.
Moreover, upon the holder’s request, licence no.29.1 issued on June 26, 2003 for TELE 2000 was repealed, as the company gave up the right to use 10,000 numbers for the provision of services through the public fixed electronic communications networks.
