July 5, 2007 – Entry Into Force of the ANRCTI President’s Decision no. 500/2008 on the Allocation and Use of Certain Technical Resources, Published in the Romanian Official Journal no. 496 of July 2, 2008.
The decision establishes the procedure for the allocation and use of certain technical resources required in view of operating public electronic communications networks and of providing publicly available electronic communications services, i.e.: international signalling point codes (ISPC), national signalling point codes (NSPC), mobile network codes (MNC), network identification codes (IIR) and routing numbers (RN). These resources are used for identifying whole networks or certain network elements and enable the processing of signals sent in order to establish and maintain communications links.
