The Regulation on the Establishment of SNR’s Costing Model Has Been Adopted

Having received the favourable opinion from the European Commission, ANCOM adopted the decision approving the Regulation on the establishment of SNR’s costing model, which will entry into force on 1 June 2010. Within 6 months from the entry into force of the Regulation, SNR will make available to ANCOM a concept of its costing model, and – within 12 months – this company will develop, implement and make available to ANCOM its costing model for 2010.

ANCOM imposed the obligation of establishing tariffs based on the actual costs of service provision following the designation of SNR as an operator with significant power on the market of analogue broadcasting of radio and television programmes.
