ANCOM collects statistical data from the postal service providers, on a yearly basis, according to the provisions of the Decision of the President of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications no. 388/2020 on the postal service providers’ reporting certain statistical data, published in the Romanian Official Journal, Part One, no. 240 of 24 March 2020.
The data in the reports on the Romanian postal market are processed and interpreted in accordance with the Romanian legislation in force in the field, as well as with the recommendations and requirements of the relevant General Directorate of the European Commission (CE) and of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
