| He graduated at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of Cluj in 1987. In 1993, Radu Petric became an associate and General Manager of the Telemach Company. The activity of Telemach is geared towards several domains: cable TV (the company operates such a network in Piatra Neamt), distribution of cable TV and broadband communications equipments, consultancy and design for broadband networks.
Radu Petric is a founding member of the Romanian Professional Association of Cable Communications (APRCC) established in Cluj, in 1994. In October 2001, APRCC moved headquarters to Bucharest, becoming the Cable Communications Association (ACC).
