Consultative Council
The Consultative Council assembles the representatives of the National Authority for Comunications , those of other state institutions, of companies and of civil society. After the draft regulations are submitted to public consultations via the ANCOM website, the texts are amended with ideas and suggestions coming from the dialogue partners and put into a final discussion in the Consultative Council. This forum is yet another occasion for the ANCOM partners in the field of communications to express their opinions and suggestions for the improvement of the ANCOM issued secondary legislation, prior to the endorsement of the documents by the ANCOM president. The Consultative Council operates through the Regulations Commission, the Studies and Analyses Commission and the Technical and Standardization Commission.
The Regulations Commission
The Regulations Commission includes representatives of the National Regulatory Authority for Communications and Information Technology, of electronic communications networks and services providers, of postal services providers and of radio broadcasting companies, as well as representatives of the Competition Council, of the National Authority for Consumer Protection, and other individuals or representatives of other organizations interested in the subject of the debate.
The Studies and Analyses Commission
This Commission includes representatives of the National Regulatory Authority for Communications and Information Technology, of electronic communications networks and services providers’ associations, of postal services providers and of radio broadcasting companies, as well as representatives of the National Institute for Studies and Research in Communications, of the National Institute for Statistics, of the Competition Council, and other individuals or representatives of other organizations interested in the subject of the debate.
The Technical and Standardization Commission
The Commission includes representatives of the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications, of providers of electronic communications networks and services, of postal service providers, of broadcasters, of the National Institute for Studies and Research in Communications, of the Romanian Standardization Association, as well as other interested persons or representatives of other interested bodies, depending on the subject of the debate.
