Satellite communications have seen unprecedented development around the globe in recent years, becoming key to a new era in communications and to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, respectively the targets of the digital decade at EU level by 2030. Romania is a player with a special potential in the space field, given the geo-strategic positioning of our country in the region, the appetite for national projects in this field, with the implementation of the latest technologies, and the ongoing steps towards a framework for the development of the space communications sector.
