ANRC allotted numbering resources for the provision of fixed telephone services to Airnet, Intercom, TV SAT 2002 and Vessa Telecom.
Airnet requested and received 50,000 numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for the provision of fixed telephone services in Bucharest and in the counties of Constanta, Ialomita, Maramures, Tulcea.
TV SAT 2002 was allotted 10,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services in the county of Buzau, 1,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for the provision of services through green numbers, as well as 1,000 numbers for each category of Premium Rate services within the 0Z=09 domain.
Intercom received 410,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services throughout the country. Furthermore, this company was granted the right to use blocks of 1,000 numbers for the provision of services through green numbers and through prepaid cards, as well as the individual carrier selection codes 1096 and 1696.
Vessa Telecom, the fourth company that requested its first lot of numbering resources, was granted the right to use 10,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services in Bucharest, as well as the individual carrier selection codes 1095 and 1695. Moreover, this company was allotted blocks of 1,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for the provision of services of access to data and Internet networks and of services through green numbers and through prepaid cards.
So far, ANRC allotted more than 62 million numbers based on the procedure of granting licences for the use of numbering resources. 54% of these have been allotted for fixed telephone services, whereas 44.6% of the allotted numbering resources were assigned for the provision of mobile telephone services.
