ANRCTI allotted new numbering resources for the provision of telephone services to the following companies: Atlas Telecom Interactive, Biotel Com, Crosstel, Dox Company, NECC Telecom Romania and RCS&RDS.
Atlas Telecom Interactive and Crosstel, who are at their first request for numbering resources, have the right to use each 410,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services at national level. The two companies have been granted numbers within the 0Z=08 domain, as follows: 3,000 numbers to Atlas Telecom Interactive, for services provided through green numbers, prepaid cards as well as for access to data transmission and Internet networks and, respectively, 1,000 numbers to Crosstel, for the provision of services through prepaid cards.
Biotel Com and Dox Company, at their first request for numbering resources as well, were granted the right to use 30,000 and, respectively, 70,000 numbers in the 0Z=03 domain. Each of them also were granted the right to use 2,000 numbers in the 0Z=08 domain, for the provision of services through green numbers and prepaid cards.
In view of providing carrier services, NECC Telecom Romania was granted the 1676 carrier selection code, Atlas Telecom Interactive was granted the 1089 and 1650 carrier selection codes, Biotel Com – the 1698 code, Dox Company – the 1082 and 1614 codes, and Crosstel – the 1083 code.
So far, RCS&RDS requested and received 50,000 additional numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services in Iasi, Bacau, Dolj, Mures and Maramures counties.
So far, ANRCTI allotted more than 68.5 million numbers based on the procedure of granting licences for the use of numbering resources. 56.4% of these have been allotted for fixed telephone services, whereas 42.4% of the allotted numbering resources were assigned for the provision of mobile telephone services.
