The draft decisions regarding the mobile termination markets will remain available for public consultation 30 days, until 22 December 2008.
The Authority intended an emergency consultation procedure for these draft decisions, given the coming reduction of the interconnection tariffs charged by Orange and Vodafone, from 1 January 2009. In this context, the decisions regulating the tariffs of all the other mobile telephony providers were envisaged for adoption in the shortest term, but Orange and Vodafone requested a 30-day consultation period.
This change does not interfere with the implementation of the last stage of cost-orienting the termination tariffs charged by Orange and Vodafone, which are to drop to 5.03 Eurocents/minute starting from 1 January 2009.
The draft decision is available on the ANC website. The interested persons are invited to send their comments and suggestions, to the ANC headquarters (2 Delea Noua Street, sector 3, Bucharest) or directly to the ANC registration office, as well as to its territorial branches in the closest county capital city, not later than 22.12.2008.
