The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC), granted two new licenses for the use of numbering resources to S.C. LCC TELECOMUNICATII S.R.L. and S.C. TELESTAR CORPORATION GmbH S.R.L. S.C. LCC TELECOMUNICATII S.R.L. received the right to use 10,000 national geographic numbers for telephone services provided by means of fixed public networks of electronic communications, within the 0Z = 03 domain, 2,000 non-geographic numbers for various services provided through prepaid cards and for data networks and Internet access services, as well as 3,000 national non-geographic numbers for Premium Rate services, within the 0Z = 09 domain. This company was also allotted the individual carrier selection codes 1027 and 1627. S.C. TELESTAR CORPORATION GmbH S.R.L requested 410,000 national geographic numbers within the 0Z = 03 domain, 1,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for the provision of services by means of prepaid cards, and the two-step carrier selection code 1037. In addition to the previously allotted resources, S.C. ROMTELECOM S.A. was granted the right to use 20,000 geographic numbers for the provision of fixed telephony services, covering Timis County. Furthermore, ANRC alloted S.C. MEDIA SAT S.R.L. 3,000 call numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for services provided by means of prepaid cards, virtual cards and green numbers and 2,000 national non-geographic numbers for premium rate services within the 0Z=09 domain for the following categories of services: entertainment, games, telephone contests and general, business and marketing information. S.C. VIP NET S.R.L was allotted the individual one-step carrier selection code 1619. So far, ANRC granted licenses for the use of numbering resources to 61 companies authorised to provide telephony services. The validity period of the license for the use of numbering resources is 10 years from the date of issuance. The license for the use of numbering resources may be suspended or withdrawn if the holder does not comply with the terms of use for the respective numbering resources or if, during the last year, the holder did not actually use a significant number in the numbering blocks allotted.
