These numbering resources were granted to the following companies: ORANGE ROMANIA S.A., ROMANIA DATA SYSTEMS S.A., INTERSAT S.R.L., IRISTEL ROMANIA S.R.L., FAST CORPORATION S.R.L., BP OFFICE & SERVICE S.R.L. and TOTAL TELECOM S.R.L.. The licences for the use of the numbering resources granted to the first 5 companies were renewed, while the last two companies were allotted the first numbering blocks for the provision of telephone services.
ORANGE ROMANIA requested and was granted the right to use, apart from the previously granted numbering resources, 1,000,000 national numbers for mobile telephone services (0Z=07 domain). So far, this company has been granted 9,000,000 numbers for the provision of such services.
The second company, ROMANIA DATA SYSTEMS S.A., was allotted 30,000 national geographic numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for fixed telephone services covering the counties of Dolj, Timis and Bihor.
The company INTERSAT was granted blocks of 1000 numbers for the provision of various services (0Z=08 domain) by means of green numbers and prepaid cards, as well as for televoting services. This company was also granted blocks of 1,000 numbers for each of the following service categories: entertainment, games, telephone contests and general, business and marketing information, as well as the 1046 two-step carrier selection code and the 1646 one-step carrier selection code.
The companies IRISTEL ROMANIA S.R.L., FAST CORPORATION S.R.L. and BP OFFICE & SERVICE S.R.L. were granted numbering resources for the provision of fixed telephone services (in the 0Z=03 domain). Thus, IRISTEL ROMANIA S.R.L. requested and was allotted 240,000 national geographic numbers, FAST CORPORATION S.R.L. – 10,000 numbers for Bucharest, while BP OFFICE & SERVICE – 10,000 numbers for Vrancea county.
TOTAL TELECOM S.R.L. requested and was granted 410,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephone services (national geographic numbers in the 0Z=03 domain). Moreover, this company was allotted blocks of 1000 numbers for the provision of various services (0Z=08 domain) by means of green numbers, universal access numbers, of prepaid and virtual cards, as well as for televoting, Internet and data network access services. Furthermore, the company received blocks of 1000 for the provision of premium rate services (0Z=09 domain) such as: entertainment, games, telephone contests and general, business and marketing information, adult entertainment). As well, TOTAL TELECOM was allotted the 1012 two-step carrier selection code and the 1612 one-step carrier selection code.
