AccessNET International S.A. and VIP PLUS COMPUTERS S.R.L. companies from Bucharest received from the National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) licences for the use of, and numbering resources for the provision of telephony services.
AccesNET International received 500,000 numbers for the provision of fixed telephony services and will use 100,000 numbers in Bucharest and 10,000 numbers in each of the county. Also, the company obtained 4,000 non-geographic numbers within the 0Z=08 domain, for the following services: green numbers (1,000 numbers type 0800 340 xxx), virtual cards (1,000 numbers type 0807 340 xxx), prepaid cards (1,000 numbers type 0808 340 xxx), Internet and data networks access service (1,000 numbers type 0870 340 xxx). The individual carrier code for AccesNET International will be 1014.
VIP PLUS COMPUTERS will provide fixed telephony services in Bucharest and in Vrancea county, for which it received two blocks of 10,000 numbers each, and services through prepaid cards, for which received 1,000 non-geographic numbers, type 0808 390 xxx. ANRC granted to this company the individual carrier selection code 1019.
So far, ANRC allotted over 27,000,000 numbers to 27 companies. The process of granting these licences continues, and the authority answers to all the requests, as they are submitted to the Headquarters or to the territorial offices.
