The National Regulatory Authority for Communications (ANRC) granted a new numbering licence to S.C. GTS Telecom S.R.L. and supplemented the numbering resources already allotted to S.C. PARLATEL S.R.L.
S.C. GTS Telecom S.R.L. was granted the right to use 500,000 numbers within the 0Z=03 domain for the provision of fixed telephony services countrywide. Also, the company was allotted 6,000 numbers within the 0Z=08 domain for the provision of televoting services and of services that require green numbers, universal access numbers, virtual cards and prepaid cards, as well as 3,000 numbers for premium rate services (0Z=09 domain). S.C. GTS Telecom S.R.L. will use the 1099 carrier selection code.
In addition to the numbering resources previously allotted, S.C. PARLATEL S.R.L. was granted 3,000 numbers within the 0Z=09 domain for the provision of premium rate services included in the general entertainment, business and marketing information, and adults entertainment categories.
So far, ANRC allotted over 35 million numbers, 60% of which represent numbers used for the provision of fixed telephony services.
