ANCOM was granted the certificate of conformity of its quality management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.

This shows once more that ANCOM is aware of its mission, is preoccupied with, and acts towards, continuously improving its outcomes and permanently meeting the requirements of all parties interested in its activity.

Statement by the President of ANCOM on the Quality Policy

ANCOM has assumed the mission or promoting the interests of users of electronic communications services, postal services, and digital services in the context of the transition to the Gigabit society, by making optimal use of the mix of administrative and regulatory instruments available to the Authority.

Through our actions, we aim to ensure that the residents of Romania, as well as public and private organizations benefit from high-quality, secure electronic communications and digital services at fair prices, while providers grow through innovation. At the same time, the Authority’s staff are regarded with trust and respect, as they are professionals who are responsible and act with integrity.

To this end, every employee, regardless of their hierarchical position, must be familiar with and contribute to the achievement of specific objectives, be aware of the importance of the risks and opportunities related to their own activity, and constantly strive to improve the quality of their work, so that the overall performance of the institution continuously improve. Furthermore, for sustainable development, we adopt responsible practices aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our activities and contributing to a sustainable future for next generations.

The quality policy and the related management methods are constantly aligned with ANCOM’s development strategy towards achieving the status of an excellent organization.

I will oversee the maintenance and development of the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the SR EN ISO 9001:2015 standard and will ensure the availability of the resources necessary for the continuous improvement of its effectiveness.
