“The Romanian mobile telephony and internet market kept registering growths as of mid-2013, which is a proof of the Romanian users’ steady interest for mobility. A mobile internet user spends on average 260 MB per month in Romania, this indicator registering growth rates in the past years. At the same time, it is worth noting that almost 70% of the high speed mobile internet access connections are provided against a monthly payment – subscriptions or extra-options for internet access”,the president of ANCOM, Mr Catalin Marinescu, said at the Mobile Communic@tions Gala, where ANCOM presented data on the mobile telephony and internet market in the first half of 2013.
